We are pleased to welcome Marco Samii as Managing Director in our Frankfurt office, further expanding our debt advisory service in the DACH region. Marco joins our 13-strong debt advisory team in Germany and will work alongside Dierk Rottmann and Lukas Augsbach in our Leveraged Finance practice, where they will jointly lead this offering as we continue to grow.
For the past five years, Marco served as Head of Financing Solutions, Leveraged and Infrastructure Finance DACH at ABN AMRO, where he was responsible for ABN Germany’s entire loan book. Marco is regarded as a financing expert with 25 years’ experience in structuring all forms of debt capital. His expertise ranges from corporate credit facilities and acquisition loans to project finance, as well as distressed situations and restructurings.
His appointment marks a further expansion of our highly successful debt advisory practice in the DACH region, adding deep expertise in leveraged finance, corporate debt, and infrastructure financing. Debt advisory is one of our three core services in the region, alongside M&A advisory and special situations.
