Colleagues from across our European offices gathered in Brussels recently for Clearwater’s annual culture-led inclusion and diversity networking event, ClearVision.
Since its launch in 2022, ClearVision has evolved into a dynamic, fully inclusive platform with a focus on fostering collaboration, connection, and action to drive cultural transformation and empower diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). More than a conference, it is designed to create practical discussions around how culture, inclusion, and performance shape long-term business success.
“ClearVision in Brussels reaffirmed the power of creating space for meaningful conversation and connection. Dame Inga Beale’s keynote, particularly her insights on career development and the role of exposure through networking, was both inspirational and thought‑provoking.
Taking time to talk and truly listen about topics that don’t always surface in the day-to-day is essential for building empathy, well-being, and sustaining performance. Set in a fantastic environment and brilliantly delivered by the team, events like these strengthen relationships across the firm and continue to build genuine engagement in how we work and lead together.”

Creating space for leadership and connection
Held over two days in Dolce La Hulpe, Belgium, this year’s event explored how teams can build trust, strengthen accountability, and improve communication in fast-paced working environments. Through workshops and discussion sessions, participants explored how to build working environments where people feel confident contributing, challenging constructively, and performing at their best.
Four core themes shaped the discussions throughout the event:
- Leadership conversations and influence
- Cross-cultural collaboration and ways of working
- Well-being and sustainable performance
- Inclusion, fairness, and belonging
Sessions focused on key workplace dynamics influencing delivery and team effectiveness, including workload optimisation, realistic planning, inclusive and neurodiverse working styles, amplifying junior perspectives, balancing performance with personal commitments, and maintaining strong leadership alignment.
A key highlight of the event was a keynote from Dame Inga Beale, former CEO of Lloyd’s of London, who shared insights on leadership, resilience, and navigating structural barriers in traditionally male-dominated industries.
What stood out throughout the event was the openness of the discussions. Conversations were practical, candid, and grounded in day-to-day experience across teams and offices.

From conversation to action
ClearVision 2026 reinforced a simple but important message: high-performing teams are built on trust, inclusion, and open dialogue. Creating space for honest conversations remains essential to building a business where people feel supported to contribute and develop, particularly in high-pressure environments.
“In times like these, we need to appreciate and focus even more on the aspects of diversity and inclusion in our industry. The recent ClearVision event reminded me of how meaningful this community and ‘movement’ is to our business.”
Sofie Baagøe, Communication Manager, Denmark
With a company-wide 99% proud to work at Clearwater score in the 2025 ‘Your Say’ colleague engagement survey, events like ClearVision play a critical role in sustaining employee engagement, enabling transparent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and a stronger sense of shared identity across the business.
“ClearVision gave us something rare: time to slow down and go in depth on culture and belonging with colleagues from across the firm. The conversations and connections gave me perspectives that I wouldn't have found on my own.”
Astrid Riber Poulsen, Head of People, Denmark
