We have advised Tuxera, the world-leading storage software and networking technology company, on its acquistion of Datalight, the North American developer of embedded file systems, flash management, and acceleration software.

Datalight, founded in 1983, develops both flash file systems and flash management software. Datalight’s software optimises solid-state storage for demanding product categories including automotive, medical, retail, industrial automation, and military/aerospace.

This transatlantic acquisition was very important from strategy point of view to establish Tuxera the leading company worldwide with the widest portfolio in our market and to serve our demanding customers the best. We are greatly impressed and thankful for Clearwater’s dedication, expertise, flexibility, value-add, and leadership role throughout this complex transaction.
