Our team recently supported two high-profile charity events in the North West and the Midlands, strengthening our ongoing commitment to giving back to our communities and driving social impact through meaningful partnerships.
More recently, we took part in the Sir Alex Ferguson Golf Classic at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in the Midlands, raising funds for the Elizabeth Hardie Ferguson Charitable Trust. Founded by Sir Alex in memory of his mother, the Trust supports causes across the UK with a focus on children and young people’s welfare, medical research and hospital support. The day included a round of golf followed by a gala dinner, bringing together leaders from business and the wider community to support these important causes.
We were proud to take part in the Foundation 92 Corporate Padel Tournament, hosted at Pure Padel in Manchester. With 16 teams from across the region, the event raised valuable funds for Foundation 92’s work improving lives across the North West through sport, education and wellbeing initiatives.
The Clearwater team – including one of our resident padel experts, UK CEO Mark Taylor – reached the final, narrowly missing out to Contollo in a closely contested match. The event also featured a charity raffle and a visit from Foundation 92 founder and football legend Ryan Giggs.

"At Clearwater, we believe in making a difference both in business and in the communities we operate in, and these initiatives are a great example of that in action."
Both events align with our broader ESG and Impact strategy, specifically under our Impact pillar. We remain committed to addressing barriers to social mobility and supporting initiatives that improve access to opportunities in education, health, technology, and inclusion. By collaborating with organisations like Foundation 92 and the Elizabeth Hardie Ferguson Charitable Trust, we’re able to support vital programmes in a meaningful way, helping to build a legacy of lasting benefit.
Mark Taylor, UK CEO, Clearwater:
“It’s been a privilege to support two truly inspiring events, along with the important work of Foundation 92 and the Elizabeth Hardie Ferguson Charitable Trust. Being part of both days was a privilege, especially hearing directly from those leading the inspiring work at both organisations. At Clearwater, we believe in making a difference both in business and in the communities we operate in, and these initiatives are a great example of that in action.”
