For the second year running, our Yorkshire team has been named National Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year at this year’s Yorkshire Rainmakers Awards.
Over the past 12 months, the team has advised on several landmark transactions, including deals for SAS, Lomond, Water Babies and Oakland contributing to a combined deal value exceeding over £635m. These marquee transactions demonstrate not only the team's ability to navigate complex, high-value deals but also their reputation as the go-to adviser for ambitious businesses in the region.
At a regional level, our Yorkshire office has been instrumental in contributing to the wider firm’s success, cementing its position as the largest M&A advisory team in the region. Despite an ever-changing market landscape, the firm has grown its headcount, expanded market share, and delivered a record year, both in terms of deal value and strategic impact.
Last night’s winners were selected by a panel of around 40 experienced judges from the Yorkshire dealmaking community, following a rigorous review process and a one-firm-one-vote decision-making system.

On the same night at the South Yorkshire Insider Awards, Clearwater advised deal, Senior Architectural Systems Ltd.'s sale to ASSA ABLOY Group, won Deal of the Year in the £10m and over category.
