Our Midlands team took home the evening’s most sought-after awards at the Business Desk Rainmakers Awards 2026, receiving Team of the Year and Rainmaker of the Year, as well as winning across multiple deal categories.
We were recognised as:
- National CF Advisory Team of the Year 2026
- Rainmaker of the Year – Partner, Joe Dyke
- Out of Region Deal of the Year – Frankham Group partners with LDC
- Medium Deal of the Year (£10-50m) – Harper James receives investment from LDC
- Large Deal of the Year (£50m+) – Obsequio Group on its investment from Beech Tree Private Equity
Winning the Team trophy marks the third consecutive year the team has received this award, having won it in 2024 and 2025 as well.
The team was also shortlisted across multiple categories on the night, including Out of Region Deal of the Year for ICA Group joining CERTANIA’s Building & Infrastructure Segment, Small Deal of the Year for Pace Group completing a series of acquisitions (debt advisory support), as well as Partners Rob Burden and Sarah Taylor who were nominated for Rainmaker of the Year.
This year’s event brought together the West Midlands corporate finance community to celebrate the region's best advisers and deals over the past year. This latest success for the Midlands team builds on recent wins by our Yorkshire and North West teams at their respective Rainmaker Awards.
Winning the Team trophy marks the third consecutive year the team has received this award, having won it in 2024 and 2025 as well.
