Founded in 2016 by Nik Schuiling, Zenvoices has become a well-established name in the Dutch market as an AI platform that helps accountants, bookkeeping firms, and businesses process invoices automatically. The platform automates the entire process: from recognising incoming invoices to automatic processing in the bookkeeping, and every step in between. It is used by more than 2,500 customers to process over 35 million invoices each year across 70,000 administrations.
Blinqx develops AI-driven software platforms that automate and optimise the core processes of professional and financial services providers. Since its founding it has grown rapidly to serve over 200,000 users across sectors including accountancy and tax, legal, consultancy, and insurance and mortgage. Today it employs more than 700 people and operates over ten offices in the Netherlands.
Zenvoices joins Blinqx's Accountancy & Tax platform, which brings together applications for CRM and practice management, document handling, compliance and KYC, tax filing and financial reporting. AI-driven automation of the bookkeeping process around invoice recognition and processing is a natural and highly complementary addition to that suite, sitting at the heart of the day-to-day accounting workflow. For Zenvoices, the combination provides the scale, resources and shared ambition to accelerate its product development and reach more customers. The business will continue to be led by founder and CEO Nik Schuiling and managing director Anne-Marie Vos.
