We have advised EFS Verwaltungs GmbH and its sole shareholder, Peter Krisor, on the sale of EFS Haustechnik ElektroFriedrichSanitär GmbH (EFS Haustechnik), a leading full-service provider of technical and electrical building systems in Germany, to Netherlands-based VDK Groep, a well-established technical services platform backed by EMK Capital. act legal Germany acted as exclusive sell-side legal counsel to the company and its shareholder throughout the transaction.
Headquartered in Kassel, with an operational heritage of around 60 years, EFS Haustechnik specialises in the planning, installation, and maintenance of technical and electrical building systems. The company offers integrated service solutions across industrial plant engineering (including industrial pipelines), electrical installations, as well as sanitary and HVAC systems, while primarily serving industrial, hospital, and public sector customers. Through its highly skilled workforce of around 130 employees, strong regional presence, especially across central regions in Germany, and customer-focused approach, EFS Haustechnik has established itself as a trusted partner for complex technical building projects.
The acquisition represents an important step in VDK Groep’s international growth strategy and strengthens its presence across the DACH region. Supported by EMK Capital, VDK Groep aims to further expand its platform through organic growth and targeted acquisitions, creating a leading platform for technical installation and building services across Europe.
Together with VDK Groep, EFS Haustechnik is ideally positioned to accelerate its growth trajectory, broaden its service offering, and benefit from the expertise and resources of an international platform. As part of the transaction, all locations in Kassel, Baunatal, and Eschwege, as well as the well-established EFS brand, will be fully retained. The partnership will further strengthen the company's position as a full-service provider for integrated technical building systems, providing a strong foundation for further expansion across Germany.
