We have advised Denmark’s largest B2B supplier of Christmas presents, GaveFabrikken, on its sale to private equity fund Capidea.
GaveFabrikken is Denmark’s largest supplier of employee Christmas presents, delivering more than one million gifts to employees across businesses in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. GaveFabrikken offers a broad range of Christmas presents in collaboration with well-known brands, complemented by its own private-label brands.
Capidea is a Danish private equity fund founded in 2006, currently managing a portfolio of 12 businesses. It invests long-term in competitive small and mid-size Danish businesses within trading, distribution, service, IT, and production.
In this new partnership, Capidea will contribute to the continued growth and development of GaveFabrikken in both existing markets and potential new geographic markets. The owner of GaveFabrikken, Nikolai Kiim, will continue as co-owner and will play an active role in the business going forward.
