As our business continues to grow, we’re strengthening our commitment to investing in our talent with the appointment of Astrid Riber Poulsen as Head of People in Denmark.
Astrid brings a rare blend of financial expertise and people‑focused leadership. Originally trained as an accountant, she began her career at Deloitte and later EY, where she developed a strong grounding in organisational processes and discovered her passion for talent development and internal operations. She has since broadened her experience in high‑growth, entrepreneurial environments, helping a scaling technology business adapt its organisation for international expansion.
With experience spanning finance, operations and HR, Astrid will play a central role in strengthening Clearwater’s people strategy across our Aarhus and Copenhagen offices. Her focus will be on attracting, developing and supporting talent at all levels, ensuring the structures, culture and development opportunities are in place for our people to grow with the business.
Astrid joins at a time of strong momentum for Clearwater. As our teams continue to grow and evolve, a dedicated focus on people and culture has never been more important, and Astrid’s leadership will play a key role in shaping how we support and develop our talent.
Astrid Riber Poulsen said:
“Early in my career, I realised how energised I am by supporting others and seeing people succeed. That passion has only grown as I’ve helped organisations scale and adapt through rapid growth. Relationships are a real superpower in any organisation, and I’m excited to shape and build the people function at Clearwater, where relationships, ambition and collaboration truly stand out, and to contribute to the development of a rapidly evolving business.”
Bruce Weir, COO, commented:
“People are at the centre of everything we do at Clearwater, and Astrid’s appointment reinforces our commitment to developing and supporting talent across the organisation. Her experience and approach will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business across Europe.”
