We have advised Ninepine, a Swedish apparel company, on its sale to an investor consortium led by Yanno Capital and NEA Partners, together with Mikael Schiller, founder of Acne Studios.

Ninepine is a fast-growing, data-driven fashion company based in Stockholm. The company develops timeless garments with a focus on comfort and sells primarily through its own e-commerce platform. With a strong international presence and an extremely loyal customer base, Ninepine has established a scalable platform for continued expansion.

With a structured approach to product development and a strong focus on the customer experience, Ninepine uses data and testing to continuously develop its offering and drive growth.

The investment will see the new consortium take seats on Ninepine’s board and support the company through the next phase of its growth journey, with a focus on continued international expansion and further development of its omni‑channel strategy, including increased retail presence across Europe.

Clearwater showed a strong commitment and a very hands-on approach throughout the process. They were attentive, proactive, and consistently available when needed, which made a complex transaction easier to navigate.

Kousha Torabi, CEO and founder Ninepine

It has been incredibly rewarding to assist Ninepine in finding the right partner. Ninepine stands out from all other clothing brands I have encountered. With a clear focus on functionality combined with timeless design, they create garments with superior comfort. The company's data-driven approach is more reminiscent of a technology company than what we typically see in the consumer sector. We will definitely be following Ninepine's journey going forward.
