We have advised Celero Capital–backed Corteco, a Nordic provider of building renovation and maintenance solutions, on its market entry to Finland through the acquisition of Suomen Saneeraustalo, a well-established shell area renovations specialist. In addition to the Finnish market entry, the transaction further strengthens Corteco’s position as a leading Nordic platform in the sustainable renovation and maintenance of the outer shell of buildings. With this acquisition, Corteco will now have a presence in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The company will continue to grow both organically and inorganically while leveraging the combined expertise within the group.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, Suomen Saneeraustalo is a well-established provider of façade, balcony, roofing, and shell area renovations for multi-residential and commercial properties. With a turnover of approximately €30m, around 100 employees, and a strong network of subcontractors, Suomen Saneeraustalo is a key specialist in the Finnish market. Under Corteco’s ownership, the company is well-positioned to continue its growth journey.
Established in July 2022, Celero Capital-backed Corteco provides comprehensive outer shell renovation and maintenance solutions. Since its inception, it has welcomed 16 companies, significantly enhancing its capabilities in windows, roofs, façades, and courtyard and garage renovations. Following the acquisition, the group has a combined turnover of over €19m (SEK 2.1bn) and approximately 800 employees.
