We have advised Artal, supported by Invus, on raising finance to support the acquisition of a majority stake in Mission Mars, the operator of Rudy’s Napoletana and Albert’s Schloss.

Mission Mars is a multi-concept operator with a mission to deliver world-class food, drink, entertainment and hospitality experiences through innovation, people and sustainability. The company have delivered impressive growth through FY26, with five new openings all trading ahead of expectations. Several further openings are planned in the near term, including the first Rudy’s in Scotland, opening in Glasgow later this month. The group currently employs more than 1,800 colleagues.

The transaction marks a full exit for BGF, which first invested in Mission Mars in 2018. Over eight years, BGF has supported the group's growth from a single Rudy's and Albert's Schloss in Manchester to 40 Rudy's and four Albert's Schloss across the UK.

The investment will accelerate the roll-out of both brands with significant runway for future growth.
