We have advised Fresh Food Village, a bakery products specialist, on its sale to Menissez Group, a leading industrial player in the bakery sector recognised for its expertise in part-baked and frozen bread products.
Founded in 1995 by Jean-Marc Krief, who is also the current CEO, and headquartered in Paris, Fresh Food Village develops and distributes a broad range of bakery products to major French food retailers through both private labels and its own brand Regent’s Park. With a workforce of 50 employees, Fresh Food Village generated revenue of €60m in FY2024.
Fresh Food Village holds leading positions in several bakery categories, including burger and hot dog buns, muffins and traditional breads. Its success is driven by deep category expertise, strong operational flexibility, and a proven track record in product innovation. The company operates its own logistics platform, ensuring efficient supply chain management, from goods reception to order preparation and storage.
By joining Menissez Group, Fresh Food Village will benefit from a stronger industrial platform and expanded international reach, while contributing its strong commercial relationships with French retailers, recognised know-how in private labels, and proven ability to innovate. This acquisition will allow Menissez to accelerate its growth in the fresh bread-making segment and strengthen its position as a partner of choice for major food retailers in France and abroad.
