We have advised Advans Group (ELSYS Design, AViSTO, MECAGINE), a leading French engineering services group specialising in embedded systems, application software and mechanical engineering, on the acquisition of the engineering services activities of Ponant Technologies, a design office renowned for its expertise in industrial and electronic embedded systems.
Based in Valence, France, this new team of 30 professionals joins ELSYS Design, a company specialising in the design of embedded electronic systems.
The transaction enables Advans Group to establish a new hub in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, complementing its existing locations in Grenoble and Lyon. This expansion is part of an ambitious growth plan aimed at reaching 300 engineers in the region in the coming years, by leveraging existing sites and establishing new ones in Annecy, Saint-Étienne, and Clermont-Ferrand.
This integration also enhances commercial synergies by opening new customer accounts while strengthening Advans Group’s existing partnerships in Valence.
It is the third acquisition completed by Advans Group in the past twelve months, confirming the Group’s sustained growth momentum, both in terms of workforce and geographic reach.
