Clearwater Germany advises Truck-Lite on the sale of its automotive lighting business to Chongqing Boao Industrial

Clearwater Germany has advised Truck-Lite Co., LLC (Truck-Lite) on the sale of its automotive lighting business FER to Chongqing Boao Industrial Co., Ltd (Boao). Based in Eisenach, Germany, FER is a leading Tier I / Tier II supplier of interior and exterior lighting products for light vehicles. FER’s highly engineered products include a wide range of lighting solutions ranging from simple visor lamps to highly sophisticated roof modules which are fully integrated into the vehicle communication matrix. FER primarily serves leading European OEMs and has over 400 employees. Based in Chongqing, China, Boao is a leading supplier of LED lighting systems, electronic sensors, printed circuit boards, and controllers to automotive original equipment manufacturers.
