Clearwater Denmark has advised the shareholders of Continia Software, a leading developer of administrative software solutions for users of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, on its sale to private equity firm VIA equity, private investor Jan Gaardboe Jensen, and members of the management team and employees.

Continia Software provides software solutions that streamline and automate administrative processes. The product portfolio includes Document Capture, managing document organisation and retrieval; Payment Management, ensuring efficient and secure payments; and the recently launched Expense Management for all travel activities. Continia Software’s products are used by over 4000 companies in more than 25 countries. The company has shown impressive growth in recent years, increasing revenue by nearly 30% annually.

VIA equity is a Northern European private equity firm with a core investment focus within the TMT/ICT and services industries. Recent investments include Linka Energy, EnviDan and Mansoft amongst others.
