Clearwater has advised the owner of Strandberg Guitars, a globally leading brand in electric headless guitars, on its sale to Procuritas, a Swedish private equity fund.

Strandberg Guitars was founded in 2012 by guitar enthusiast Ola Strandberg, with the goal of reinventing the guitar. On the back of its patented design, space-age materials and proprietary hardware, the company puts forth an instrument that enables every musician to perform and feel inspired at the maximum of their ability. Strandberg Guitars has rapidly established itself as the original brand for headless guitars globally, pioneering the industry with a knowledge-leading position and heritage sprung from innovation.

Procuritas has acquired a majority stake in Strandberg Guitars and will support the continued scale-up of the company through a number of well-identified growth initiatives to further strengthen Strandberg’s position as the preferred choice of modern guitarists across the globe.
