Clearwater has advised Singlepoint Holdings Limited (Singlepoint), a leading digital technology consulting firm, on its sale to multi-award-winning IT services, consulting and digital solutions provider, Version 1.

Singlepoint specialises in digital and cloud solutions, AI, analytics and technology delivery and through its award-winning digital acceleration platform, DAPx, helps customers rapidly deliver digital transformation projects. Singlepoint has longstanding customer relationships with blue chip customers in the financial, insurance and telecommunication sectors including Zurich, Vodafone and Aon.

Founded in 1996, Version 1 is an IT services, consulting and digital solutions provider that focuses on innovative solutions which drives customer success. The acquisition of Singlepoint brings additional scale and capability to Version 1’s digital and cloud solutions business and is Version 1’s eleventh acquisition to date. The Singlepoint founders and executive management team CEO Rob Curley, CTO Brian Seery, COO Johann Cardiff and Client Services Director William Waldron will join the Version 1 team, focusing on bringing technology leadership to grow the digital and cloud practice.

This is the second transaction Clearwater has worked on involving Version 1, having previously advised on the MBO of Version 1, backed by Volpi Capital.
