Clearwater has advised Executive Capital and owner-management on the sale of SCADA International, a full SCADA value chain provider in the renewable energy industry, to private equity-backed energy transition investor Magnesium Capital.

SCADA International is a provider of SCADA solutions to blue-chip OEMs and renewable asset owners, offering software, hardware, installation, and consulting services. The skilled specialists support the entire SCADA value chain and strive to act as the trusted partner from design, SCADA hardware production, SCADA software development, network design, and solution installation to surveillance and maintenance. Headquartered in Denmark, SCADA International also has offices in Germany, Poland, the UK, and the US.

Magnesium Capital is a growth-oriented private equity firm based in London that focuses on investing in fast-growing technology and tech-led businesses that transform the way energy and resources are produced, distributed, and consumed. The business will contribute its vast experience in strategy support and financial backing, enabling SCADA International to respond to present and future opportunities and facilitate the green energy transition.
