We have advised Miab AB, the largest independent cleaning and facility management company in Sweden, acquired a majority stake in N-Clean Oy, a Finnish cleaning company.
MIAB AB was founded in 1979 in Sweden and runs nationwide operations. It specialises in providing facility management solutions and services for various types of business customers and has a particularly strong position in hospital-related cleaning services. MIAB’s revenues are approximately SEK 550 million and the company employees approximately 1500 people.
N-Clean has a strong market position in hospitality-related cleaning, including hotels and passenger ferries. In recent years, the company has also grown rapidly in other customer segments such as retail and healthcare. N-Clean has revenues of over €40m and the company employs about 1,850 people, of which 13% are located in Sweden. The transaction creates the leading Nordic cleaning and facility management company with annual revenues of over €100m.
