Clearwater has advised ID Grup S.A, a leading company in the information technology sector, on its sale to Claranet, S.A.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, ID Grup is an expert in infrastructure services offering cloud and data center, digital workplace, cybersecurity, networking, data and media services.

Claranet, founded in 1996, has a presence in ten countries and more than 2,200 employees. The business is one of the main providers of technology services, is a leader in Europe and an expert in managed hybrid cloud, public cloud management and Data Centre Outsourcing.

The integration of ID Grup in Claranet will allow the clients of both companies in Spain to have new capabilities, as well as extensive experience in the implementation and management of all types of ICT infrastructures both in on-premises, environments and in private cloud environments and ublic cloud, as well as in the field of cybersecurity.
