The group was bought by CIBT, a global provider of immigration and visa services for individuals and businesses, with more than 60 offices in 27 countries. CIBT regularly acquires companies in the sector and has made more than 50 acquisitions since 2012.

Comet’s turnover was more than €8.2m (SEK 86m) in 2018. The company has approximately 50 employees and offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsingfors.

Comet and CIBT share the same values and are focused on customer satisfaction, flexibility in changing markets and innovation. Together, Comet and CIBT will be even better at handling visa applications and legalisation in the Nordic countries and will be able to offer the best possible service to even more satisfied customers. Furthermore, the personnel will gain access to international training courses.
