Clearwater has advised the shareholders of Arran Isle, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of door and window hardware, on its sale to ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in access solutions.

Arran Isle has a varied portfolio of innovative products primarily trading under the brands of Carlisle Brass and Mila. Businesses currently within the Arran Isle Group date back as far as 1971. The Group provides a market-leading service provision to customers and has strong relationships with housebuilders, door and window OEMs, trade customers and distributors.

Arran Isle’s Mila and Carlisle Brass businesses are highly complementary to ASSA ABLOY’S existing operations and will enable them to offer a wider range of distinctive, high value-adding door and window hardware to manufacturers, as well as to the growing remedial and home improvement sector.
