Clearwater has advised ABE Capital Partners on the acquisition of a majority stake in Plain Concepts, S.L, a leading technology company specialising in digital transformation projects, an operation in which the company's management team and founders have reinvested.
Founded in León, Spain in 2006, by 4 Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional), Plain Concepts is a company specialised in disruptive solutions aimed at improving productivity and processes for large companies, such as, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, IoT and Cloud, Virtual Reality, as well as web-native applications. The business has offices throughout Spain in León, Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Santander, A Coruña, Zaragoza and also in countries such as the US, the Netherlands, the UK and Germany. The company has more than 350 employees and has experienced double-digit growth in recent years with a turnover close to €30m and with a profitability above the market average.
Plain Concepts is not only a gold partner but also a supplier of Microsoft in the USA. Plain Concepts provides to MSFT innovation technology and development services in projects and products that are distributed worldwide.
ABE Capital Partners is a fund which was established at the end of 2019, based in Bilbao and focused on long-term investment in SMEs to support and enhance both their organic and inorganic growth.
