We have advised Learning Tree International on the disposal of its French subsidiary Supinfo for a symbolic euro.
Based in the US, Learning Tree International Inc. completed the sale of its French subsidiary to Educinvest, the parent company of Supinfo, for a symbolic euro. The acquirer also signed a license agreement allowing them to continue using the brand and certain educational and promotional materials for 10 years, renewable once.
Learning Tree International S.A. is one of the top 10 players in the IT and management training services market in France. The company offers courses ranging from one to five days, taught by instructors to small groups of trainees, either at company sites or in its classrooms. In the latter case, a set of proprietary, highly collaborative tools allows trainees to participate remotely in live classes. The company generated approximately €8m in sales in 2017.
Educinvest fully acquired Learning Tree International S.A. after the transaction.
