Clearwater has advised Maven Capital Partners and management on the sale of Westfield Medical, a leading supplier of medical sterilisation packaging solutions, to Sterimed Group.

Established for over 45 years, Westfield Medical has developed a strong market presence in the UK and internationally with a complete product offering for hospitals and medical device manufacturers. The company supplies sterilisation pouches, reels, bags, wraps and tray liners, manufactured at its facility near Bristol.

In addition to developing long standing relationship with its customers, Westfield Medical has invested in developing and launching innovative products, including Humipak®, a unique moisture retention pouch for post-operative instrument handling, helping increase sterilisation efficiency and reduce the risk of hospital acquired infections.

Westfield Medical has a long-standing reputation for excellence and a strong brand in the sterilisation packaging marketplace, serving the UK NHS and its global customer base with high quality products.
