The company markets highly advanced and pioneering products within e-invoice management solutions with the purpose of simplifying everyday tasks, increasing employee productivity and enhancing accounting efficiency for clients.

efacto has achieved a market-leading position in Norway and Denmark with expanding operations in Germany. Its accelerating growth is driven by the development and distribution of its unique revolutionary products. It is a demanding process to sell your company and at the same time, having to take care of operations and sales. That is why it is essential having a team that knows the entire process and can help with everything, from hands-on help for financial data, to strategic insight and negotiation. The Clearwater team has definitely lived up to this. We are very pleased with the path we have chosen together with Visma, with the entrepreneurial spirit at the core of our business remaining unchanged.

We are truly convinced that efacto has found the right partner in Visma, that can contribute to securing, further scaling, and realising the company’s big potential. efacto is facing an exciting future that we very much look forward to following from the sidelines. Despite a more insecure market in the last 12 months, efacto is the eighth transaction where we advised on a sale of a tech company. We see a generally large demand for recurring revenue and in particular, profitable SaaS companies that can grow the top line and raise their profit margin at the same time.

Per Surland, Partner, Clearwater

efacto taps into some attractive market tendencies in relation to e-invoicing and has a unique product, providing organisations the opportunity to automise and optimise workflows. At the same time, efacto is an example of a company that possesses the unique combination of high growth and high profitability, and as a SaaS company, securing itself a high and attractive “rule of 40” key figure. That is why we have seen an unusually high strategic buyer interest from international actors and we look forward to following efacto in this truly right partnership with Visma.
