Clearwater has advised DomusVi on the acquisition of Groupe Les Matines, a leading player in the elderly care sector in Normandy, France. Groupe Agon, a family-owned holding company and shareholder of Groupe Les Matines, sold its 14 establishments to DomusVi.
Groupe Les Matines is the second largest private operator of retirement homes in Normandy with 12 nursing homes and two senior residential homes. Founded in 1996, Groupe Les Matines accounts for c. 1,000 beds and places and employs nearly 550 people. The group is an expert in Alzheimer care with c. 180 Alzheimer specific care units.
