We have advised the survival technology provider Survitec Group on the sale of Lyngsøe Rainwear, a leading brand of high-quality rainwear for professional end-users, headquartered in Herning, Denmark. The company was founded in 1999 by Bo Lyngsøe and has since 2017 been part of Norwegian Hansen Protection which was acquired by Survitec Group in 2021, a global survival technology solutions group with subsidiaries providing products for the maritime, offshore, aerospace and defence industries.

Hultafors Group is a fully owned subsidiary under Swedish investment company Investment AB Latour and is one of Europe’s largest suppliers of workwear, footwear, head protection, hand tools and ladders for professional users. Its products are developed, manufactured, and marketed as their own brands and are available through leading distributors in nearly 70 countries worldwide, with an emphasis on Europe and North America.

Lyngsøe Rainwear will now operate as a standalone business unit under Hultafors Group’s existing workwear brand, Fristads. This transition will strengthen Lyngsøe Rainwear’s footprint in the industry and support its geographical expansion under strong new ownership.
