We have advised the shareholders of Senior Architectural Systems Ltd (SAS), the UK’s leading independent aluminium fenestration systems supplier, on its sale to ASSA ABLOY Group (ASSA ABLOY), a global leader in access solutions.

SAS is a leading independent supplier of innovative and thermally efficient fenestration systems to the UK commercial and residential sectors, including aluminium window, door, and curtain wall solutions.

Serving customers from its two manufacturing sites in Yorkshire, SAS has successfully built an industry recognised reputation through its well-invested infrastructure, extensive product set, and exemplary customer service. The business has received multiple awards for its energy-efficient, high-quality aluminium fenestration systems that exceed both existing and upcoming regulatory requirements, underpinned by its patent-protected PURe product range.

The transaction supports ASSA ABLOY’s strategy to broaden its capabilities and add complementary products and solutions to its core business, further extending the ASSA ABLOY offering into the UK commercial market.
