The Clearwater team has advised the owner of Neuteerbit, the eastern Swiss market leader in the application of bituminous road construction materials, on the sale of the company to Volare Group as part of a comprehensive succession plan.
With Grisard Bitumen and Bitex Bimoid, the Volare Group already has two specialists for bitumen and bituminous road construction materials. The acquisition of Neuteerbit will further strengthen the bituminous road construction materials business of Volare Group.
Neuteerbit was founded in 1933. The company's main activity is the production and development of bituminous road construction materials for layer bonding and surface treatments, as well as their application with special machines on highways, cantonal and municipal roads. The company also trades in bituminous road construction materials, which it both produces itself and purchases from wholesalers. The company is one of the top three suppliers in Switzerland and is the market leader in Eastern Switzerland.
