We have advised Imker Capital Partners (Imker), a European family office with a long-term investment horizon, on the acquisition of a majority stake in communication specialist AVM Computersysteme Vertriebs GmbH (AVM), renowned for its FRITZ! Brand, and related financing arrangements.
AVM is a European leader in broadband connectivity and digital home solutions. The FRITZ! Brand products enable fast internet access, easy networking, powerful Wi-Fi, and versatile smart home applications. With a strong focus on in-house development, the Berlin-based company has delivered innovative products since its founding in 1986. In 2023, the communications specialist achieved a turnover of €580m with 890 employees.
This transaction marks a succession plan for AVM while ensuring a promising future for the brand and its employees. Imker is committed to supporting AVM’s continued growth and technological advancement. The founders of AVM will retain a minority stake and remain active contributors as members of the advisory board.
