We have advised Hathorn Corporation (Hathorn), a Toronto-based manufacturer of pipeline inspection cameras, on its sale to Halma Plc (Halma) owned Minicam. This transaction comes seven years after Clearwater advised LDC-backed Minicam on its sale to Halma.

Established in 2003, Hathorn manufactures specialist municipal grade push camera systems. Products are designed and manufactured in-house with the business having developed a strong reputation for quality, reliability and durability within a robust and growing market.

Halma is a FTSE 100 global group of life-saving technology companies. Minicam specialises in the manufacture and distribution of pipeline inspection systems, mainly for the wastewater market, as well as by public authorities and several other sectors.

As the lead investor, I am delighted with the sale of Hathorn to Minicam and would like to thank Zack, George and the rest of the Clearwater team for their diligent efforts.
