Clearwater has advised Gomà-Camps Consumer, one of the leading producers of tissue paper in the retail sector, distributing to Spain and France, on its sale to The Navigator Company, a leading pulp and paper company and one of Portugal's strongest brands globally.

Gomà-Camps Consumer has a modern production plant in Ejea de los Cavalleros, Zaragoza, from where it mainly distributes to customers in Spain and the southern region of France. The company stands out for its high-quality products and personalised customer service.

Following this acquisition, The Navigator Company strengthens its position in the tissue paper production market, which will see them become the second-largest manufacturer in the Iberian Peninsula region, with an annual capacity of 165,000 tons.

Gomà-Camps Consumer maintains its business in the professional market, developing its own production plants in La Riba and Vilaverd, located in the Tarragona area, where they reinforce their leadership.
