Afonso’s Clearwater journey has been remarkable from the start. Beginning as an Analyst, he quickly distinguished himself through his strategic vision and has since become a key leader in our Portugal team as Head of Technology and Healthcare. With 16 years of experience in M&A, Afonso has developed a deep, multifaceted expertise spanning both traditional industries and innovative sectors. His leadership has been instrumental in transformative transactions that have shaped the Portuguese business landscape, including the successful sale of Balflex to Henko and the strategic acquisition of PHC by Cegid.

Since joining us in 2015, Duarte has demonstrated exceptional execution capabilities, rising to become Head of Consumer and Energy & Utilities. With over 15 years of corporate finance experience, he has led defining transactions, including Miura Partners' acquisition of a stake in Sabseg, Oxy Capital's strategic investment in Fitness Up, and Touriga's acquisition of Panificadora Costa & Ferreira.
