We are pleased to have advised Jacopa Limited (Jacopa), a prominent supplier of water and wastewater treatment products and solutions in the UK and Ireland, on its sale to Rubicon Partners (Rubicon), a London-based investment partnership focused on the acquisition of complex industrial businesses.
This strategic acquisition aligns with Rubicon’s focus on investing in established industrial businesses and supporting long-term growth.
Headquartered in West Bromwich, Jacopa designs, supplies, installs, maintains, hires, and services a range of wastewater and water treatment equipment for its customers. Jacopa is a key supplier to all the end-user municipal water companies in the UK and Ireland.
Managing Director, Alex Lloyd and Finance Director, Pete Sargent formed Jacopa in 2015, carving the UK and Irish municipal wastewater and water divisions out of Ovivo Inc.
Alex and Pete will remain as shareholders in the business in their existing executive capacities, and Rubicon will work with Alex and the management team, in a close partnership, to develop and grow the capabilities of the business further.
