We have advised the owners of Door System, a Danish door manufacturer, on its sale to ASS ABLOY, the global access solutions leader.

Founded in 1998 by Preben Søndergaard, Door System is a Danish manufacturer of high-quality industrial doors, with market-leading expertise in fire-rated doors serving the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and retail industries. The company is headquartered in Hørning, Denmark, where it also operates its production facilities.

ASSA ABLOY, established in 1994, employs more than 60,000 people across more than 70 countries. The acquisition of Door System strengthens ASSA ABLOY’s offering with advanced capabilities in combined fire-rated, freezer, and hygienic industrial door solutions, aligning perfectly with its strategic vision for the door segment.
