We have advised Tikehau Capital on the signing of an agreement to sell Elvia Electronics, a French designer and manufacturer of high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs), to Latour Capital. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Elvia Electronics serves high-tech industries including defence, robotics, space, aerospace, energy, automotive and industrial applications. As France’s largest PCB manufacturer and a major European player, the Group operates an integrated industrial model spanning the entire value chain, from co-design with customers’ engineering teams to direct delivery to their production lines. Elvia Electronics employs approximately 420 people across three production sites in Coutances (headquarters), Châteaubourg and Puiseaux, as well as a technical centre in Meung-sur-Loire.
Since Tikehau Capital’s investment in March 2022 through its aerospace- and defence-focused private equity fund, Elvia Electronics has undergone a significant transformation and achieved strong growth, supported by an ambitious investment programme that has expanded its industrial capacity and strengthened its engineering capabilities.
Latour Capital, an independent French investment firm with €5bn in assets under management, has entered into an agreement to acquire Elvia Electronics through its Émergence Défense fund. With Latour Capital’s backing and sector expertise, the Group aims to further consolidate its position in high-end, high-reliability electronics, pursue operational excellence and accelerate its international expansion, while continuing to invest in its industrial footprint in France.
