Clearwater advises HANNOVER Finanz and management on sale of Paper + Design to Duni

Clearwater acted as sole financial adviser to HANNOVER Finanz Group and management on the sale of Paper + Design Beteiligungsgesellschaft GmbH to Duni Group.
 
Paper + Design, based in Wolkenstein, has a strong position in the consumer market for premium designed napkins. The products are mainly sold through specialist retailers in Germany as well as in numerous other geographic markets. With approximately 200 employees, Paper + Design has an annual turnover of around €38m, with an operating margin of approximately 20%, which will contribute positively to the profitability of Duni Group.
 
HANNOVER Finanz Group, based in Hanover and Vienna, has over 35 years of experience as an equity capital partner to sound medium sized enterprises, with sales of between €20m and €500m. The principal focus of HANNOVER Finanz Group is on funding growth and corporate succession.
 
Duni is a leading supplier of attractive and convenient products for table setting and take-away. The Duni brand is sold in more than 40 markets and enjoys a number one position in Central and Northern Europe. Duni, listed in Stockholm, has some 1,900 employees in 18 countries, headquarters in Malmö and production units in Sweden, Germany and Poland.
