Strengthening our leadership in Finland: Kimmo Voutilainen and Niklas Lönnberg promoted to Partner

We are proud to announce the promotions of Kimmo Voutilainen and Niklas Lönnberg to Partner, marking a significant milestone for Clearwater in Finland and reinforcing our commitment to clients in the Nordic region. 

Kimmo joined Clearwater in 2012 and has nearly 18 years of M&A experience. He has played a key role in numerous transactions across industrials, business services and tech. Recently, he has been helping multiple founder and family owned businesses to find new homes in the Nordics and in the UK. Prior to Clearwater, Kimmo worked in the strategy and M&A department at Sanoma Oyj, large European learning and media company, and in Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance division.

On his appointment Kimmo commented:

Niklas brings over 15 years of M&A experience, having first joined Clearwater in 2010 and rejoining in 2019 after working in the global forest industry at UPM. He has been actively involved in transactions within business services, healthcare, and industrials — particularly in the packaging sector. Recently he has been helping Nordic private equity companies to build platform companies in Finland through accelerated buy and builds.
