Our team in the Midlands have secured three wins at the 2024 Midlands Rainmaker Awards, including National Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year, and two deal titles across the Medium Deal of the Year (£10-50m) and Large Deal of the Year (£50m+) categories.
Clearwater’s Debt Advisory team were advisers to Waterland-backed Cooper Parry’s acquisition of Haines Watts, which won Large Deal of the Year.
Palatine’s investment in BK Plus won the Medium Deal of the Year award, a transaction for which our Midlands-based team were advisers.
This is the second year that our team in the Midlands has secured the Team of the Year trophy, having also won the award in 2023. The Midlands were shortlisted across a record number of awards at this year’s event, totalling 13 nominations across several categories.
The awards, which are run by The Business Desk, celebrate the success of the professional community within the region. The judging panel was said to have been impressed with Clearwater’s deal activity over the last 12 months, reflecting the team’s consistency and performance in getting deals done.
