We have advised Beech Tree-backed Inspiro, an independent training provider, on welcoming Safety UK Group (SUKG), a group of specialist brands delivering health, safety, compliance and vocational training.

Inspiro is an independent training provider delivering both apprenticeship and commercial training to the automotive, rail, services and energy sectors.

Safety UK Group, including The Safety Maintenance Company Ltd, The Safety Consultants Company Ltd and SOTA Training Ltd, has established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality health, safety, compliance and vocational training programmes across a range of industries.

By combining Safety UK Group’s specialist expertise with Inspiro’s strengths in apprenticeships, vocational learning and workforce development, the transaction creates a more comprehensive training and development offering for employers. The combined group will provide access to a broader range of learning solutions, supporting organisations to develop and retain talent while maintaining safe, compliant and productive workplaces.

This transaction marks our third M&A advisory role for Inspiro. In 2025, we advised the business on its sale to Beech Tree, followed by its acquisition of Remit Training, reflecting our continued support throughout the business’s impressive growth journey.

It’s been great to work with the Clearwater team again. Having supported Inspiro through several important stages of our growth, they understand our business, our ambitions and what we look for in the right strategic partners. Their advice and support throughout this transaction was invaluable, and we’ve really enjoyed working with the team and look forward to continuing that relationship as Inspiro grows.

We are very excited for Mike, Damian and the entire Safety UK team to join Inspiro. They are an ambitious business with a market leading reputation with their customers, that very much aligns to the core values of Inspiro. I am looking forward to seeing Safety UK Group continue to grow and prosper as part of the Inspiro family.

When we started Safety UK Group, our aim was to build a business our customers could rely on, and our people could be proud of. As we looked to the next phase for the business, it was incredibly important to find the right partner to ensure those values continue.

That’s why I’m excited that we’re joining Inspiro. They share our values and our ambition, and being part of the group will bring new opportunities for Safety UK Group and our employees. Our focus hasn’t changed: we’ll keep putting our customers first and delivering the quality of service we always have. With our team and Inspiro alongside us, we’re looking forward to what’s ahead.

Michael Havercroft, Director and Founder, Safety UK Group

Having previously advised on the sale to Beech Tree and subsequent acquisition of Remit Training, we’re delighted to continue supporting the business on its growth journey. Education and training is a sector where we have significant experience, and we continue to see attractive opportunities for ambitious providers with differentiated, high-quality offerings. Safety UK Group brings additional specialist capabilities to the group, creating a broader proposition and a strong platform for further growth.
