Clearwater has advised the owner of Rexholm A/S (Rexholm), a leading manufacturer of corporate wear, on the minority sale to family investment fund C.W. Obel.

Rexholm, operating under the name ID® IDENTITY, delivers quality corporate wear to its customers located all over Europe. The company employs 100 people and generated revenue of €55.3m (DKK 413m) and EBITDA of €11.5m (DKK 86m) in 2018.

C.W. Obel is a Danish investment company owned by the Obel Family Foundation. The company has a wide portfolio of investment activities ranging from real estate, to venture capital funds and capital commitments in private equity along with ownership positions in privately-owned companies. The new partnership will not alter the current management structure of Rexholm and ID® Identity.

Located in Denmark, Rexholm has an international outlook, which the new partnership with C.W Obel will help develop further. Moreover, the partnership will support the continued growth strategy, with a specific focus on digital development.

C.W. Obel is the right strategic partner for ID® Identity. It has always been decisive for us to maintain and develop long-term collaborative partnerships with customers and suppliers. I am therefore very pleased that C.W. Obel will contribute actively to the joint target of accelerating our international growth in the corporate wear markets.

Peder Holm, Founder and Chairman, Rexholm

I have been following Rexholm’s journey for the past 18 years, since I met Peder Holm in 2001, where I advised him on the purchase of the remaining 50% of the company resulting in full ownership. I am very satisfied and happy with having advised Peder once again in this minority sale to C.W. Obel and on the creation of a partnership that will ensure the further development of the company.
