Clearwater has advised Satucesa, an Iberian distributor of big bags with technical requirements for the chemical and food sector on its sale to Baobag, a leading European big bag distributor offering customised soft packaging solutions.

Based in Terrassa and led by Jordi Meler for nearly 30 years, Satucesa stands out by its customer service and quality of its products. The company has become one of the main players in the distribution of big bags across Spain with more than 600 clients in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and ceramic sectors.

Baobag’s acquisition of Satucesa will increase its European reach and strengthen its presence in the Spanish market, especially in the chemical and food sectors, and will allow the broadening of its product portfolio to its current clients.
