We have advised the shareholders of Recambios Colón on the sale of 100% of the company to Alliance Automotive Group (AAG), a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), the global leader in aftermarket distribution.

Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Valencia, Recambios Colón is a leading aftermarket distributor of automotive spare parts in the Valencia region. The company operates a network of 26 retail and distribution points, supported by two logistics centres in Albal and Játiva, and supplies more than 4,000 workshops. Over the years, Recambios Colón has built a strong regional footprint under the leadership of its founding team.

Alliance Automotive Group is a pan-European leader in the distribution of automotive and commercial vehicle parts, with more than 1,800 points of sale and over 16,000 employees across France, Germany, the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands. In Spain, AAG continues to consolidate its position through targeted acquisitions of well-established regional players with strong local roots.

The acquisition of Recambios Colón strengthens AAG’s footprint in the strategically important Valencia region and provides a high-quality platform for continued growth in the Spanish market. The company’s leadership, regional depth, and operational know-how are expected to remain key pillars within the wider AAG group.

All our colleagues, customers, and suppliers see this step as a strategic move to become the undisputed leader in our region by combining all the resources of Colón and AAG in the Levante region.
