We have advised VvAA on the sale of SpotOnMedics, a leading cloud-integrated practice management software for physiotherapists, on its sale to Health Cloud Initiative, a portfolio company of Vortex Capital Partners.

SpotOnMedics is a leading company in the Dutch physiotherapy EHR (Electronic Health Record) market, offering a one-stop-shop software solution to practices. The company’s proprietary IT platform, FysioOne, and its BI services are at the core of its product offering. The services provided by the FysioOne platform include planning appointments in the agenda, client contact, file reporting through the EHR and submitting invoices to insurers or clients. Since its founding in 2011, the SpotOnMedics team has developed an outstanding reputation in the industry and a proven track record of providing unique insights and data to over 600+ practices in the Netherlands.

Health Cloud Initiative (HCI), founded in 2022, offers innovative software solutions for primary care, mental health care, pharmacies, and paramedical practices. With brands such as HCI GGZ, Evry, FysioRoadmap, NICE Software, Incura, Quli, Embloom, and Uw Zorg Online, the company supports over 35,000 healthcare providers and 3.5 million people. HCI brings together over 200 renowned EHR, PBM, and eHealth specialists with over 30 years of experience, focused on providing multidisciplinary solutions and putting clients first.

With this strategic acquisition, HCI becomes the leading EHR software provider for physiotherapists in the Netherlands and strengthens its services in the healthcare sector.
