Clearwater has advised Waboba, an international outdoor toy and sporting goods brand, on its majority sale to the private equity firm, Pamica Group.

Waboba is an innovative niche leader in outdoor games, delivering high-quality products with excellent playability. Since its first ground-breaking invention in 2005, the company has developed a wide range of popular outdoor games, of which a large proportion are patented. Waboba has full global distribution and sells its products in over 70 countries.

Pamica Group has acquired a majority stake in Waboba and will support the continued scale-up of the company through several well-identified growth initiatives, further strengthening Waboba’s position as the leading brand in outdoor active fun. Co-founder, Axel von Heland, will continue in his role as CEO.

We have grown rapidly and in recent years investigated the possibility of finding a strong owner with competence, to support us in our continued expansion and broadening of the product range. We now gain access to many new competencies through Pamica’s network and look forward to developing Waboba together.
