Clearwater has advised the foundersof Doudou Crèches, a French leader in the private childcare market, on its sale to Babilou, a portfolio company of Antin IP, a leading private equity firm that focuses on infrastructure investments.
Founded in 2013 by Sébastien Barrié, Edouard Meunier and Aly Pirbay, Doudou Crèches is one of the leading players in the private childcare market with 12 sites located in, and across Paris. The company has been experiencing strong growth since 2018 to reach more than 120 places in 2021.
With this acquisition, Babilou has strengthened its presence within the micro nursery segment in Paris and the surrounding areas.
