He joined Clearwater in 2004 and has been a key member of the team developing the London business with Marc Gillespie.

Nick has a BSC in Banking and International Finance from City University Business School and joined Coopers & Lybrand on graduation to qualify as a chartered accountant.

Nick spent several years in corporate finance completing due diligence reviews for banks and investors, specialising in distressed company reviews. The time at Coopers included a secondment to Natwest Markets Acquisition Finance in London where Nick assisted with senior debt underwritings to mid-market buy-outs.

In 1997 Nick joined Credit Agricole Indosuez in London where he led several mezzanine and equity investments with deals including Pharmacy2u and Primal Pictures. In addition Nick held several non-executive board positions. He was also involved with the bank's distressed assets work-out activity.

Hobbies and interests

Nick likes watching rugby and taking to the slopes for some snowboarding, as well as socialising with friends.
